Location:
Petersfield, Hampshire. Located in the heart of the South Downs and with fantastic cycling right on our doorstep.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a responsible Customer advisor to help organize and assist running our retail store. Your job will be highly important and much more than serving behind the till. The role is hands-on where no two days are the same. We are looking for a committed individual who can share their passion and knowledge with our customers. It goes without saying your number one priority will be to provide great service consistently.
We are a small team meaning that we often need to be hybrid in our working, we are looking for someone with some mechanical knowledge. Someone who is happy getting stuck into the workshop for small repairs and when things get busy. You should have basic knowledge of the workings of a bike, the ability to assemble a new bike and adjust/service brakes and gears.
Requirements and skills:
· Have an interest in cycling and be enthusiastic about the products we sell, with an up to date knowledge in the latest cycling technology.
· Be approachable and able to demonstrate strong communication skills that are tailored to customers varying levels of cycling experience.
· Basic bike mechanic skills: able to PDI a new boxed bike and complete small repairs brakes/gears.
· Proven experience in retail or similar position, and dedicated to provide a customer experience that exceeds our customer’s expectations every single day.
· Familiarity with till/EPOS systems
· Demonstrate a readiness to learn and develop, with a can do mindset.
· 5 day working week including Saturday
