The role
As a Data Automation Engineer, you'll apply your technical leadership and expertise to building innovative tools that help take our processed biometric data into the products that we deliver to our customers.
In this role, you should be able to work independently and with little supervision. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills. Your goal will be to develop high-quality software that is aligned with internal user needs and business goals.
Who we're looking for
We are looking for dynamic, self-starting individuals who thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, and have the potential to become significant contributors to the overall direction and success of our business.
You should definitely have:
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience in a fast-paced, high growth tech environment
- Fluency with TensorFlow and related technologies
- Experience building machine learning solutions in a variety of problem spaces, including computer vision, speech and natural language processing, data categorization and feature detection
- Background in statistics, computer science, or engineering
- Demonstrated experience shipping high-quality products from planning through to launch and maintenance
You might also have:
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform
- Experience developing software in JavaScript (Node or Web)
- Experience and interest in managing a small team
What you'll be doing
- Automate various facets of our data delivery workflows, for example:
- adding classification metadata to our content library to assist in generating meaningful data reports
- detecting and identifying branded moments in our content assets
- Using your creativity and ingenuity to solve a variety of data analysis challenges
