About the role:
We are seeking a creative and motivated individual to join our team as a Summer Temp Marketing Assistant. This temporary position will primarily focus on supporting our marketing efforts in generating new ideas and content for our hotel's social media platforms, specifically Instagram and Facebook. The successful candidate will have a passion for photography, videography, and creating engaging content, as well as a keen interest in the hospitality industry. This role will also involve occasional Saturday shifts to assist with wedding marketing initiatives
Duties:
- Help develop and maintain our brand guidelines and image standards
- Help develop and implement social media strategy to drive engagement, visibility, and audience growth
- Help create content for our website, social media pages, blog, and other digital channels
- Help manage internal communications across all digital channels (social media platforms)
- Help manage daily email campaigns across all digital platforms (social media platforms)
- Help manage the creation of branded videos for internal use
- Assist with content creation for various ad hoc projects as needed
- Assist with creation of marketing collateral materials (flyers, stickers, badges) as needed
- Assist with creation of marketing video shorts for use in various campaigns (i.e., corporate videos)
- Other duties as assigned by management
Required skills:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Instagram and Facebook, experience managing business accounts is a plus.
- Proficient in creating compelling visual content using photography and videography techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content.
- A creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate new marketing ideas.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Enthusiasm for the hospitality industry, with an understanding of the unique marketing challenges and opportunities it presents.
- Availability to work on Fridays from 9 am to 3 pm, with occasional Saturday shifts as needed.
- Previous experience in marketing, social media management, or related fields is a not neccessary but any previous experience is a plus.

- Occassionally on the room - delivering flyers to companies
