Unless stated office hours are 09:00am-5:00pm but it is essential to be flexible and prepared to

A vacancy has arisen for a solicitor to join our successful Commercial department, including Commercial Property and Corporate and Commercial, supported by the Employment and Dispute Resolution teams. The firm deals with a wide range of high-quality commercial work.
We would be pleased to consider applications from newly qualified and experienced candidates who are used to working with a quality caseload in an established legal practice.
You will be an enthusiastic transactional lawyer, with experience in all aspects of a busy corporate and commercial practice, including:
- Commercial acquisitions and disposals
- Development
- Landlord and tenant
- Asset management
- Banking, finance and loan agreements
- Business and asset sales/purchases
- Insolvency and restructuring
Ideally, we would be looking for someone who has experience and a willingness to be involved in corporate support and general commercial work.
You would be able to work alone and as part of a team, confident in dealing with a client base comprising well established SME's, owner managed businesses, lending institutions, property investors and developers, housing associations, as well as high net worth private clients.
In addition to your case responsibilities, you would be willing to help provide support alongside the partners in developing the skills of our junior lawyers and to develop the firm’s corporate and commercial client base. Prior experience in business development would be an advantage and an aptitude for marketing will come naturally to you.

Occasionally, we are able to offer legal training contracts with our legal departments. When a vacancy arises we will advertise at the University of Law and in the Law Society Gazette inviting applicants to send their CV for consideration.
