The Donation Attendant accepts material goods donations at different locations by providing customer service to repeat donors and potential donors. Maximize value of goods by proper handling, sorting, and recording of inventory.

What You Will Do:
- Greet donors and provide information about Goodwill’s donation policy, mission, and programs.
- Offer tax receipts to donors and provide assistance in unloading donations.
- Handle goods and equipment properly to avoid damage or breakage.
- Assist drivers in loading / unloading of goods or equipment.
- Sort and label goods by category and place in proper containers or equipment
- Assist supervisor in providing on the job training to new staff, participants, clients and volunteers.
- Proper logging of donor counts daily including proper logging of all eWaste Donations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You Bring to The Role:
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience
- Previous retail and customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Read and write English proficiently or have enrolled in and are on track to successfully complete an approved ESL program.
- Computer literate and basic Math skills
- Available to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Able to stand on hard surfaces for an extended period.
