As a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will partner with all brands and business areas to make sure that robust assessment and selection methodologies are used in BT Group to hire the best people in the market.

You will work with key assessment partners and make recommendations on innovative digital assessment tools with a focus on providing a great candidate experience, fair assessment and ensure that adverse impact is monitored on all assessment tools that we use.

You will directly impact the quality of new starters by providing assessment frameworks at all levels of seniority and focussing on the candidate experience.

What you’ll be doing
  • Partner with business to make assessment and selection recommendations.
  • Monitor adverse impact in the assessment tools that we use.
  • Work with our key assessment selection partners on key projects.
  • Provide an Assessment and Selection framework to for all grade levels in BT Group.
  • Continue to monitor our selection and assessment journeys and make recommendations on tools and the candidate experience.
  • Work with our technical teams to make sure that the candidate experience around selection and assessment is the best it can be
  • Data lead recommendations for future volume campaigns such as Graduate or Apprentices.
The skills and experience you’ll need
  • Qualified in Occupational Psychology
  • Experience in an Assessment Consultancy or similar in house recruitment assessment role
  • Experience of making recommendations on ability, personality and psychometric tools
  • Experience of assessment centre design focussed on Volume type recruitment such as Grads or Contact Centres
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to organise, monitor and improve relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Data analysis – apply data extraction and analytic methods to analyse and evaluate information and provide business intelligence
  • Project management – able to define project objectives, clarify the scope and develop the task list to complete it
