Last year we opened our eight Club in the heart of Moorgate and we currently have our ninth club under construction at Wimbledon. We’re not stopping there, with plans to double in size by 2026 and with the ongoing extensive refurbishments of our existing portfolio, we are now looking to appoint a world-class Assistant Project Manager who will manage and coordinate project delivery for various club construction projects across London. Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, you will ensure all critical path and key project deliverables are highlighted and keep the Project Managers updated on all matters that need addressing ahead of actionable timelines.
General Project Support
- Raise purchase orders and send to the relevant consultants
- Keep the invoice tracker up to date as and when invoices are issued checking with the relent PM that they are OK to pay
- Update the projects one drive as and when required
- Update club investment planner with new requests weekly
- To get involved in the technical details of projects and to learn and improve knowledge of Project Management.
New Club Opening Support
- Create and manage the directs list with lead in times detailed
- Place orders at the relevant time ensuring enough time is allowed for delivery but it doesn’t arrive to site too early
- Work with the club manager to ensure orders are placed for appropriate back of house furniture
- Coordinate the delivery/install of direct order items
- Coordinate the operational handover schedule ensuring the relevant stakeholders are invited to the relevant handover meetings and be onsite throughout to coordinate all stakeholders
- Support the coordination of the snag/defects works
- Liaise with the relevant stakeholders to fill in and issue the building user guide
New Project Pipeline Support
- Take weekly pipeline project meeting minutes and circulate to the relevant stakeholders within agreed timelines
- Follow up on action points from pipeline meetings
- Update latest floorplans on one drive weekly
- Keep the new club timeline schedule up to date
- Upload new club timeline schedule and club investment planner to SharePoint weekly
- Attend all site meetings as required
We are looking for a highly organized Assistant Project Manager to effectively manage workload on a daily basis, meet deadlines and efficiently prioritise tasks across multiple projects. You will produce Gant charts/programs to ensure visibility of projects’ progress, coordinating new club opening processes all to ensure the smooth transition from build team to operations and club opening date. Some experience in property (live construction/maintenance) is preferred, but not essential, you will ideally need to be proficient in Microsoft Office – especially SharePoint access/filing. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to step into project management.
