Both NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER have dedicated teams of Assistant and Personal Shoppers globally across London, Hong Kong, and multiple US sites including a main office in New York, who communicate with customers through different channels ranging from; WhatsApp to one-on-one consultations in the personal shopping suites of the company’s offices. Offering the high-spending clients services such as global free shipping, the ability to reserve or pre-order new-season items, or exclusive collections and access to a series of lifestyle and shopping events hosted by NET-A-PORTER or MR PORTER. Personal Shoppers and the Assistant Personal Shoppers create special lookbooks for EIPs to buy from directly.
The NET-A-PORTER team are now seeking a talented Assistant Personal Shopper to join, supporting two Personal Shoppers. The role is based in our offices in Westfield, London and will be reporting directly into the Personal Shopping Assistant Manager.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
- Work alongside two Personal Shoppers to support them in their daily duties
- Resolve all daily order issues, returns, stock discrepancies
- Liaise with all relevant departments to resolve issues promptly and follow up until completion
- Help with creating dedicated emails for our customers with product images, product details and pricing
- Outline the service benefits to customers
- Arrange samples to be sent to the head office and help with the dressing of our EIP fitting rooms
- Organise and check stock for consignment deliveries to key customers
- Assist with events, from: setting up, participating and helping to take down
- Process orders, pre-orders and reservations of product when needed
- Take care of the Personal Shopper’s clients if the Personal Shopper is Out of Office
The type of person we are looking for:
- Previous experience in a luxury sales and customer facing environment (preferable)
- A flexible and positive attitude
- A strong interest in Fashion
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exceptional communication skills (written and oral- additional languages are always desirable)
- Computer literacy, with experience and prowess across Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Understanding of brand
- Ability to build positive and influential internal relationships with other teams, to ensure support with prompt resolution of issues
