Job description
A client of ours on the outskirts of Chelmsford are recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent role working Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm (37.5-hour week) & paying a salary of £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
Key responsibilities for this Accounts Assistant will include but are not limited to:
- Checking & raising sales invoices.
- Reconciling customer statements.
- Liaising with customers to resolve queries.
- Allocating bank receipts
- Credit Control & Sales Ledger maintenance
- Assisting with analysis of management accounts
- General office duties.
- Responding to emails / phone calls.
- Assisting with other accounting duties including credit control and management accounts when required.
Skills Required:
- Proven track record in a similar role
- Credit control & Sales Ledger experience is essential
- Good attention to detail
- Highly numerate
- Efficient, organised and professional.
