Eventus Recruitment are seeking an Assistant Legal Cashier to support a busy Accounts department. You will assist with the day to day running of the accounts function. This is a full-time permanent role, 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Role Responsibilities
You will be responsible for,
- General accounts administration
- Posting monies on account
- Client and office transfers
- Posting invoices
- Client balances
- Banking
- Aged Debt
- WIP reporting
- Use of a case management reporting system
- Working closely with fee earners to process payments and invoices
Person Specification
You will have previous experience within a Legal accounts department, good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Adhere to Solicitors Accounts Rules at all times
- Lexis Nexis/SOS is advantageous but not essential
- Work as a member of the team
- Develop and apply knowledge
- Field calls and take accurate messages treating all internal clients and other callers whether face to face or over the telephone in a polite, courteous and professional manner.
- Be able to work well under pressure with a high standard of accuracy and have a methodical and logical approach to work.
