Job description
Silson is a specialist high-tech manufacturing company supplying nanometre scale thin films for scientific research and development to customers around the world. Manufacturing takes place in Silson’s in-house cleanroom based microfabrication facility in Southam, Warwickshire.
An opportunity has arisen for a part-time assistant laboratory technician to undertake quality assurance inspection and packaging of Silson’s extremely thin and fragile membranes. The work will take place primarily within a cleanroom environment and requires extensive inspection with optical microscopy.
The position is intended to be part-time and flexible; candidates will be able to choose hours appropriate for them, within the normal Silson working day of 8:00 until 4:30. Additional hours may be available at busy times.
