Salary: £29,439 - £31,099 Per annum
Permanent, Full Time (37 hours a week)
A great opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join a small team who are responsible for a diverse range of functions within the Engineering Section. This wide-ranging role provides an ideal opportunity to be involved in the general maintenance of the Council’s highway assets and residual highway functions; delivery of small sized schemes; assist with the Council’s car parking function and to be involved in works at the Council’s Riversway (former dock) estate.
Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering and Riversway Manager, the post holder will be expected to deliver a professional service to our internal and external customers.
We are looking for someone ideally with an appropriate construction/civil engineering qualification and/or with general engineering experience. As this is a diverse role, covering a number of service areas, the successful candidate will be given training where necessary.
