Here’s what we need from you:
Must be able to travel to off-campus employer sites, attend professional development opportunities and attend networking events. Must possess the willingness and ability to work an unconventional work schedule that includes occasional evenings and weekends to serve our students and employer partners. Must be capable of lifting and pulling 10-15 pounds.
- Master’s degree in Higher Education, Counseling, or related field and 2 years of experience working in Career Services or a similar environment.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience; student and/or professional staff
- Experience in career development theory, assessment, and experiential educational programs.
- An understanding of recruiting and hiring processes, EEO guidelines, and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.
- Experience with teaching and curriculum design in a university classroom setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relationship management databases or job applicant tracking systems, such as Handshake, Symplicity, CSO or PeopleAdmin
After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
