We are recruiting an Assistant Cleaning Manager to take the lead in ensuring that an excellent cleaning service is provided to customers. They will undertake the recruitment of cleaners and supervisors, provide training and will oversee the management of cleaners and contract delivery on a day-to-day basis. If successful in role, there is the strong potential that this role could be promoted into a Cleaning Manager role, as the company grows.
The main tasks of this role are to:
- Recruit experienced cleaners
- Provide good quality induction and training to those cleaners
- Provide cover for our existing Cleaning Managers when on annual leave
- Manage them effectively and fairly on a week to week basis to deliver a good quality cleaning service
- Liaise directly with customers to maintain good communication and ensure that they are happy with their cleaning service
The role is mainly Mon-Fri but some flexibility is required, including occasional work at weekends.
You will need:
- at least 3 years experience of managing cleaners to deliver a professional service
- excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak Spanish
- a clear commitment to 'fairness' at work
- two good employer references
The company is owned by christian churches and charities. You will need a full commitment to the aims and values of the company and sympathy with the christian faith.
We are offering a salary of £27,000 - £30,000, 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), 5% employer pension and the opportunity to share in future profits as an employee.
First interviews are likely to be held March 20th - March 24th , and successful candidates would have a second interview also.
