We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in East Fife. As a Care professional, you will provide a variety of Care and Companionship to help keep clients independent in their own home.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
Being a Care Professional is an essential role supporting older people to live well at home instead of being in a care home. With the support of our team and industry leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for.
Here's what it would involve:
- Minimum 1-hour visits
- Introductions to all new clients
- Visiting the same Clients for continuity of care and to allow you to build up a meaningful relationship
- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Personal Care - Supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Assitant as full training is given. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.
You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. Also a sense of humour certainly helps.
You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
