The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs whilst balancing the needs of the business. The team aims for 1 day a week in the office to connect and on a more ad-hoc basis to attend key meetings but again, are flexible on this.
Salary range - £38,300 - £57,400
Contract type - Permanent, Full Time
About the role:
As an Assistant Brand Manager at Waitrose, you will support, develop and manage Own Brand sub-brand plans and/or Seasonal Events (such as Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter etc) for the next 1-2 years. Working within the Product and Innovation Team, you will focus on harnessing business capabilities to develop a best in class plan.
Some of your responsibilities include:
Coordinates own brand propositions aligned to support the Partnership, Customer and Commercial plans
Governs the sub-brand / event strategy and works closely with multiple cross functional teams to deliver this
Input into and deliver project responsibilities under the Own Brand plan that meet business objectives
You will need to work closely with internal and external teams across, Product Innovation and Own Brand teams, Insight, Technical & Quality, Trade Planning, Space, Category Management, Customer, Design, Retail, Supply Chain, Suppliers etc.
Essential skills you’ll need
Experience of managing Own Brands / FMCG Brands / Campaign / Events for a business of significant size and complexity.
Competent at assessing trends, insights and performance data to inform decisions
Strong communication and influencing skills (written and verbal) at all levels and groups
Experience working with multiple cross functional teams including senior stakeholders
Self-motivation, energy and drive, collaborative approach
Good organisational and project management skills
Strategic thinker and customer centric
