Job description

Asset Management Assistant

Permanent, Full Time, 37 hours per week

Grade 2 i.e. £21,575 to £22,777 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Property and Development Team based at our offices at Carlton Forest on Hundred Acre Lane, Worksop.

At Bassetlaw District Council we work hard to improve the lives of local residents and we value everyone who works with us, whatever their role. We are committed to ensuring that our staff realise their true potential with the support and training for a rewarding career.

You will be part of the Property and Development Team providing technical and administrative support to the teams within Asset Management and playing a key role in the delivery of quality Housing Investment programmes.

You must have a minimum of two years’ experience of working in an office environment. You will often be dealing with the public so excellent customer care skills are required. The successful candidate will be supporting a technical unit so attention to detail to ensure compliance to relevant legislation, policies and procedures is essential.

We value the diversity of our people and actively encourage applications from all sections of the community. We maintain fair and well thought out recruitment processes at every stage to make sure that everyone is treated equally.

We will value your contributions, give you access to a free healthcare cash plan and benefits, offer a very generous 25-32 days holiday package (rising incrementally each year) plus public/bank holidays, and give you the option to purchase additional annual leave tax-free. We will double your monthly pension contributions and provide the option to join our shared cost AVC scheme, offer discounted car parking of around £4 per month, and family friendly policies. We also offer hybrid working arrangements of partial home/office working.
