What can you expect in a Senior Vice President of Marketing role with TaskUs:

This is a senior leadership position that is responsible for creating and implementing a marketing strategy that drives the TaskUs brand forward, creates inbound leads, converts prospects in our sales funnel and delivers content, optimizes digital channels, and manages marketing campaigns. You will oversee the strategy and tactics that educate, influence, activate and monetize prospect and client engagement across all programs and segments.

Additionally, you will be responsible for all corporate branding and marketing that activates the TaskUs brand for the purposes of brand awareness and credibility with prospective clients and talent. You will partner with our communications team on PR programs that drive a positive corporate reputation.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

Market Positioning:
  • Develop and execute the TaskUs go-to-market messaging strategy in partnership with the product, service, and executive leadership teams. Including market segmentation, market intelligence, target audiences, buyer personas, value proposition, channel and marketing strategies, and unique selling positions.
  • Position TaskUs as a CX and BPO thought leader by overseeing the production of weekly exceptional content to be distributed on social media, blog, website, and marketing / sales materials.

Demand Generation:
  • Lead a team that creates industry leading targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Be the one who pulls all the messaging pieces together as you direct actions such as keeping the company website clean, fresh, and revolutionary.
  • Comprehends the complexity that is marketing and therefore has a strong functional understanding of the multiple platforms that are required to track and convert valuable leads in a systematic and highly effective way.
  • Direct our highly talented sales enablement and marketing teams by fine tuning campaigns and communications to drive inbound and outbound lead generation and sales funnel acceleration.
  • Manage by metrics through developing clear expectations, dashboards and actions to achieve the most out of our digital advertising activities.
  • Effective event presence is a fundamental part of the lead generation process and a large part of the marketing spend so therefore every detail matters to turn heads and attract participants to learn more and track the outcomes from each event.
  • Oversee the process of applying for industry awards and recognition to continue to place TaskUs in the most favorable position for our clients, partners and within the industry.

Marketing Department:
  • Oversee all members of the talented Marketing Department, directly or indirectly based on the organization chart, on an ongoing basis to ensure each team member is:
  • Autonomous - feels empowered
  • Productive - is accomplishing specific goals outlined each quarter
  • Supported - by hosting weekly 1:1 meetings with your direct reports and actively providing and accepting constructive feedback
  • Administer Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) as needed.
  • Determine if and when additional department team members are needed.
  • Manage outside vendors including public relations and branding agencies.
  • Plan and administer the annual budget.
  • Create annual and quarterly department goals.
  • Determine benchmarks and metrics for the success of marketing campaigns.

Brand Guidelines:
  • Ensure global adherence to brand standards and brand voice with allowance for cultural influence.

Global Recruitment and Brand Marketing:
  • Assist existing teams on global site recruitment and brand marketing efforts.
  • Approve large-scale, public recruitment marketing efforts while allowing for individual site autonomy.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of content marketing experience.
  • 10+ years of branding and positioning experience.
  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience.
  • Ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience advocating for content strategy best practices, principles, and methodology

  • Experience in a BPO is highly preferred

  • Has worked at a startup before (plus)

Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce compelling direct mail copy, sales materials marketing collateral
  • Strategic thinker - the ability to make data-driven business decisions
  • Full marketing technology stack understanding and experience
  • Strong metrics driven marketing approach with proven outcomes based decision making
  • Strong relationship management, organizational, and project management skills
  • Experience working with Adobe creative suite
  • Comfortable thinking on your feet and working through ambiguity
  • An eye for design - able to quickly spec out and wireframe throw website redesigns, presentations & more
  • Quick learner - must be eager to independently learn about the latest technologies, solutions, and platforms
  • A passion for technology

Education / Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing / Business or related communications field.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration preferred.

Work Location / Travel:
  • Remote position in USA/Preferably based in Texas
  • Travel: 35%
