Salary: £25,000-£30,000 (dependent upon credentials and experience)

Working hours: Monday – Friday
Holidays: 20 days (plus bank holidays).

We have a small but highly professional, specialist, dedicated and close- knit team based from our offices in Stone, Staffordshire.
We are looking for a reliable, committed and motivated person to join our engineer team providing electronics and computing assembly and support. You will be tasked with assembly, maintenance and support of our time-lapse systems fleet. Providing active interdepartmental support regarding technical issues as well as exploring hardware improvements to our products. Working within a workshop & office environment you will be responsible for some aspects of updating and maintaining stocking, BOM and online database.
Alongside this you will be actively working with our hardware and software development team advancing our new and exciting products as our systems and services continue to evolve.
The job will be varied. You will be mostly office-based but on occasion be called upon to support the engineer team attending our clients’ sites around the UK. Specialist training for on-site attendances will be provided. The role requires enthusiasm for continuous learning and adaptability to new challenges.
Essential skills:
- Experience assembling components, enclosures and cabling
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux OS
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, liaising with customers and colleagues in a clear,
- professional manner
- Organised, reliable, self-motivated, with initiative ambition and desire to progress.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- The position would suit someone who enjoys a varied and busy day
- Self-motivated
- Full UK driving license
Some experience desirable:
- Some knowledge of microcontrollers & programming languages Javascript, Python & C
- Some experience using DSLR cameras
- Excellent soldering skill
- An understanding of IoT and networking
- Some experience using CAD software
