Manor Green School is a large and highly successful special school educating some c300 students
aged 2-19, who, due to their complex needs, require significant specialist support to succeed
academically and achieve their full potential.
Our students’ needs range from requiring additional pastoral and emotional support, through those
with moderate and severe learning difficulties to some having profound, multiple learning and
complex health problems.
The school’s mission statement is to be the Centre of Excellence for students with special

Finance Officer (Income) – Permanent part-time
Monday to Friday 20 hours per week Term time + 2 weeks, flexible daily start/finish times
£11,317 per annum pay award pending
You will support the Head of Finance by managing the accounts receivable process including
funding, invoicing, credit control and accounts reconciliation. You will also prepare the weekly
banking and manage the free school meals system.
You will need a financial qualification such as NVQ level 3 or equivalent by experience, excellent
ICT and Excel skills. Experience of working within an education environment is desirable.
