Assistant Accountant - VR/27946

Assistant Accountant required for an internationally growing energy sector business. Reporting into the Senior Accountant, you will join an existing team of 6, holding responsibility for the reconciliation and group reporting of intercompany accounts.
This role would suit an experienced Assistant Accountant.
Dynamics AX experience would be advantageous, although not essential.
Your role will entail the following:
- Assisting with the monthly closing for group reporting by providing analysis and supporting schedules.
- Maintaining inventory adjustments and supporting with quarterly stock and mobile fixed assets counts.
- Maintaining the fixed asset registers.
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Supporting the preparation of UK and overseas VAT returns for all entities.
- 3-way matching of purchase invoices, including following up of discrepancies. Supplier payment related queries.
- Maintaining posting of bank transactions on a daily basis.
- Supporting with audit requests for internal and external audits.
