Apprentice Bricklayer West Sussex
Job description
Hox Contractors are based in Haywards Heath and offer a range of Building and Property Services throughout Sussex. We have a range of trades working for us including Carpenters, Bricklayers and Ground workers.
We are currently looking to take an Apprentice Bricklayer to work alongside our Brickwork and Groundwork team. You will learn and take part in a range of tasks including
Setting Out and Measuring for Walls
Mixing up mortar
Bumping out materials
Face brickwork
Blockwork
Haunching and Pointing Up
Laying Patios
We are looking for someone to start ASAP with the view of them starting college in September.
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Salary: £15,000.00-£17,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sussex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Plastering: 1 year (preferred)
- Bricklaying: 1 year (preferred)
- Masonry: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- CSCS (preferred)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
