DACBeachcroft has an exciting opportunity for an IT Applications Analyst to join our IT team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Reporting into the IT Applications Team Leader, the IT Applications Analyst is responsible for providing day to day BAU support to end users, monitoring and administering internal IT systems, eg Electronic Working system/Snow Licencing system and maintaining content on the Intranet/SharePoint system and working closely with internal IT teams and 3rd party suppliers to diagnose and resolve technical complex issues for internal clients and customers, on all supported applications, whist delivering a high level of service to the business.

Main Responsibilities- Provide technical support on a wide range of business critical applications.
- Prioritise user incidents\requests in order to ensure all are dealt with in an appropriate, timely and effective manner.
- Follow up on tickets that remain open, constantly updating the customer in line with company SLA's.
- Explain potentially complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Take full ownership of escalated incidents\requests, assessing ticket priorities and escalating if required, always be willing to find answers to all questions raised.
- All tickets must be completed, resolved and closed off in line with company procedures.
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal across all levels of the business.
- Establish working relationships with customers and 3rd party suppliers to assist in fault fixing.
- Understand problem management and the importance of work prioritisation to establish root cause fixes.
- Adhere to change control and follow company process and procedures in relation to any updates or fixes within any IT systems.
- Contribute to IT knowledge base to reduce ticket escalations and deliver incident resolution at initial call.
- Monitor/administer the electronic working system (IMIAA) ensuring documents reach the Case Management System.
- Work with the Application Manger to ensure DACB are licence compliant.
- Work on Intranet/SharePoint Demand Requests to fulfil business requests, to include updating content and creating new sites.
- Assist the Cyber Security Team by updating/removing software identified as containing vulnerabilities.
- Ability to work on multiple activities and see them through to completion.
- Maintain good working relationship with internal departments.
- Good inter-personal skills and the ability to work on own initiative, as well as a team player.
- Location visits when required to provide additional support to the business.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and skills, keeping up to date with new processes, procedures and developments.
- Handle confidential information in line with the firm's data security protocols.

Qualifications
- Degree in computer related discipline.
- Microsoft Certified Developer Professional Qualifications.
- ITIL Foundation certified.
