Job description
East Quay Medical Centre - TA6 4GP - Just off Junction 23 of the M5 - easy to find and 40 mins from Bristol, 20 minutes from Taunton. Large (17000) practice, 11 GP Partners, with a blend of traditional values (personal lists), alongside innovation and efficiency. Our biggest feature is our team culture, which is supportive - not just in workload and professionally but in life in general. It really is a great place to be. The GPs are a blend of personalities, ages and gender and this brings a well-balanced team and practice. We are consistently successful financially and in business, looking after today whilst planning for tomorrow but this isn't our main focus. Our main focus is good patient care and good care of ourselves and each other. We meet every morning for coffee, have lunch together every day and have our doors open. Everyone is happy to ask and answer any questions too. We have one post at the moment, salaried or partner, for around 6 sessions a week. This is to replace a day for a GP who is dropping as part of retirement plans, and 2 days as a result of a recent influx of patients from a practice that had to close suddenly. We are happy to offer 4 days (7-8 sessions) too if that suits you. We have no specific start date in mind - we can accommodate a start now, or the Autumn. What matters to us, is that we get the right person for our team and so, we can be flexible on the working arrangements. So if something isn't quite the right fit, but you like us, we can chat. This also means we are happy to offer a fixed term post too, rather than a substantive post. The sessional rate is now £11-12000 For further details please email Rachel Stark, Practice Manager via the click apply button or for an informal discussion about this job please click 'Reveal Phone Number' and give us a call.
