WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE

THE OPPORTUNITY
Warehouse Operative roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Picking and packing retail and wholesale orders with a high level of care and accuracy
- Ensure safe handling, storage & repacking of all products in line with stock locations and rotation policies
- Load distribution vehicles in a safe, presentable manner and highlight all errors and damages prior to completion
- Support with the receipt of our deliveries and ensure they are stored or delivered to the correct building location.
- Maintain high standards of site house-keeping
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to team leader immediately
- Assist with inventory counting when necessary
- Put forward improvement suggestions where appropriate
- Be a team player and assist other team members when necessary
- Support the warehouse supervisor with day to day tasks
- Action any other elements to fulfil the operational needs of the business
THE SKILLS

- A high level of physical fitness as some heavy lifting and continuous movement will be involved

- Forklift counterbalance and reach licence
- Computer literate

SALARY: £10.85 - 11.20 per hour depending on experience - plus bonus potential
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week
LOCATION: Unit 2b Lanchester Way, Advanced Manufacturing Park, Waverley, S60 5FX

Salary: £21,157.50-£21,840.00 per year
