Green Pastures Veterinary Centre is looking for an Animal Nursing Assistant to join our friendly team. We are an award winning 24hr veterinary practice based in Weston-s-mare delivering a gold standard of care to our clients and their pets. We are looking for the right candidate to support and add value to the service we provide.

Job Responsibilities:
The bulk of role will include:
· Exercising, grooming and feeding hospitalised animals
· Providing supportive care to patients
· Preparing theatre and relevant equipment
· Daily cleaning duties and deep cleaning practice
· Helping to restrain animals for treatment
· Helping the practice and teams in busy periods, such as answering the phone
With the ability for further development as the role, candidate and practice expand and grow.

· Have excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills.
Job Position: Full-time, Permanent – hours are flexible working in rotation with our current ACA between 8am and 8pm. These would be 8hr shifts, Monday-Friday, with some weekend availability as needed.
Salary: Minimum wage (£7.49 – £10.42/hr depending on age)
Education:
HNC/HND (preferable)
GCSE or equivalent
Experience:
Veterinary Animal Handling: 1 year (preferred)
Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
Animal Nursing Assistant: 1 year (preferred)
