The Role
The Airworthiness Review Support (ARC-S) reports to the Airworthiness Review Lead (ARC-L) and is responsible for the effective assistance of the Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) activities in accordance with all applicable Aviation Regulations and International Standards.
Key Responsibilities
Ø Assisting in all Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC) activities and assisting in maintaining records in accordance with all applicable Aviation Regulations.
Ø In support of the Company Safety Management System (SMS), ensuring that any condition that has resulted, or may result in, an unsafe condition that hazards seriously the flight safety of aircraft or personnel is reported.
Ø Supporting technical investigations in support Safety Occurrence Report Management.
Ø Supporting a robust First and Second Line of Defence Compliance (Quality) monitoring system within the ARC Function.
Ø Supporting with Audit Non-Conformance management and Safety Investigation Findings.
Ø Supporting Aviation Authority audits as required. (e.g. CAA, EASA, MAA, etc…)
Ø Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMPs):
v Compilation and updating of the AMPs with the support of the Airworthiness Engineers (AWEs).
v Registering and processing of AMP amendments.
v Internal and external approval of the AMPs.
v Management of the AMPs in the electronic continuing airworthiness management system
Ø Support / back up function to Technical Library to ensure business continuity.
Experience / skills / qualifications
Ø Able to hold an SC-Level security clearance
Ø Practical application-level knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS) principles and requirements as applicable in the aviation environment
Highly desirable skills/experience are as follows:
Ø Knowledge of commercial Continuing Airworthiness Management principles and practices
Ø Theoretical and practical application-level knowledge of AOC Operations
Ø Knowledge of EASA, UK CAA, UK Military and FAA Aviation Regulations
Ø Practical application-level knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 & ISO 27001 as applicable in the aviation environment
Ø Relevant Aircraft (Airframe & Engine) Type Training or General Familiarisation Training –
