We are currently seeking a Project Co-ordinator to join the IT team . This role would be a full time position.
JOB PURPOSE:
As a Project co-ordinator, you will work within the firm helping to manage change and plan for the future in line with our business goals. You will interact with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their problems and needs.
Provide project plan trend analysis and control including analysis, research, development and maintenance of the project data. Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and project management techniques. Provide recommendations for improvement of project management processes currently in use.
You will also play a key role in communicating between the various parts of the firm and the IT team, (and also external parties), acting as a 'translator' where necessary to incorporate how information technology can support the organisation's needs.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the project team with any project related duties required.
- Contributing with project planning, budgeting, and overall strategy.
- Conducting and presenting a feasibility analysis for proposed projects.
- Establishing key performance indicators.
- Monitoring and evaluating the overall project.
- Own & take responsibility for all planning of UAT including preparation and documenting test activities.
- Hold principle responsibility for all project testing & piloting of technology solutions.
- Analysing project data and producing insights to optimize performance.
- Identifying problems and shortfalls and proposing solutions.
- Providing operational support such as liaising with stakeholders, tracking timelines, etc.
- Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining project documentation and reports.
- Maintaining project contracts and financials.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCE:
Essential
- Prior experience as a project co-ordinator in a related field required
- Strong understanding in project management and data analysis
- Proficient in computer technology and Microsoft Office applications
- Working knowledge of applicable laws and standards in the industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional research and reporting skills
Desirable
- Degree in business, administration, or a related field required.
- Knowledgeable in all phases of the project management life cycle.
- Strong computer skills and experience with relevant software programs.
- Experience with stakeholder and financial management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Experience of working in a law firm ideally, (or other professional services firm, IT service environment or other service sector industry).
