JOB TITLE: Administrator – Operations Control
SALARY: £ 23,370
LOCATION(S): Leicester
HOURS: Full Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
About this opportunity
This role is within Embark Pensions, part of the Embark Group who are part of the Lloyds Banking Group.
The Operations Control team is a critical part of our operations function. In your role as Administrator your primary focus will be ensuring that the Company aligns with HMRC and other requirements in the course of providing pension scheme administration services and meeting its duty of care obligations as a trustee. The scope of the role covers the support of both pension administration functions and in particular the usage, management and reconciliation of the back-office systems.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

The role is responsible for handling transactions in and out of the SIPP bank accounts to ensure they are reconciled accurately against our administration systems identifying any discrepancies or potential issues which may arise

Supports other administration teams through monitoring various tasks and reporting exceptions for their review, also completing daily checks on processing of bank files and resolving any discrepancies, also completing the reconciliation of various bank accounts.

Monitoring / assisting with raising system issues to ensure the route cause and fix required is identified, and communicated to relevant administration teams

Responsible for processing various batch processes on administration system (contributions, RAS, Pension Payments, Payroll, Property Lease and invoice) and production of cash forecasting reports

Comparable experience in a regulated pension environment, ideally coordinating SIPP or involvement in reconciliations / operations control

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive and inquisitive nature which gives you the ability to innovate and challenge in support of the business model we are operating

Proficiency in using MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel.
