Job description
We invite applications from candidates with exceptional skills and experience for the role of Administrative Coordinator in the Digital Media and Society Institute (DMSI).
You will provide dedicated executive assistance to the DMSI Directors and provide administrative support for DMSI projects. You will liaise with both external and internal partners to ensure the efficient management of the day-to-day activity of the DMSI. This will include first-class executive assistance for the two Directors; committee secretariat support for multi-organisational meetings including coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for the project team.
You will assist the Directors in managing all practical aspects of the DMSI, including budget setting, financial management, monitoring reporting, and documentation, managing reimbursement processes, and drafting reports. You will establish yourself as the primary, recognised and credible point of contact for the DMSI and Directors both across the institution and for major funders/agencies, key partners, and government offices.
You will display a high level of personal initiative and judgement, taking responsibility for complex/sensitive tasks delegated or carried out on behalf of the Directors such as keeping track of multiple tasks across projects, tracking project milestones, preparing both internal and external communications.
You should have 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language, and Mathematics.
