Organisational Development Administrative Assistant
Ref: SC4420
Salary on appointment will be £21,761 per annum, with an annual increment up to £23,144 per annum.
We’re looking for a customer-focused support assistant to join our Organisational Development Service. The right candidate will have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and be an effective administrator with the ability to prioritise and execute tasks within a high-paced environment.
You will play a key role in supporting the successful administration of organisational development and professional learning projects and programmes of activity, providing customer-led, proactive and flexible administrative support for activities across all areas of the Service. Working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders within a team of three administrators, you will act as a knowledgeable first point of contact, ensuring enquiries are probed, understood and signposted efficiently to the ‘right person, first time’. You will help support our system improvement ambitions, championing the introduction of automated systems and processes and actively identifying opportunities to reduce manual processes and introduce efficiencies.
The University is supporting a hybrid-working pilot of at home and on campus ‘hybrid’ working. We encourage discussions about how your working arrangements can be agreed to best balance the needs of the role and your personal circumstances.
It’s an exciting time to join the team as we work together to support the University to deliver ambitious and transformational programmes of change.
This full-time post is available immediately on a fixed term basis until 5 February 2025 to cover a period of secondment.
We strongly encourage applicants from Black, Asian, or other minority ethnic backgrounds and welcome applications from all protected groups as defined by the Equality Act 2010. Appointment will be made on merit.
Further information on our great benefits package, including 34 days annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays and University Customary days (pro rata for part-time), can be found on our benefitspage.
Closing date: 10 August 2023
The University holds an Athena Swan Silver Institutional Award in recognition of our advancement towards gender equality.
