Business Support Officer – Fully Remote

£23,000 - £25,000 (DoE) + bonus and benefits

We have a fantastic opportunity for a remote working Business Support Officer to be part of building one of the fastest growing Business and IT consultancy firms in the UK. We deliver transformational programmes for a diverse portfolio of clients, we are looking for a tenacious and dedicated administration professional to join our Business Support team.

Reporting to the Business Support Manager you will be adept at building excellent working relationships with both internal stakeholders and clients, being driven to solve problems and deliver effective and polished solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supporting internal and external enquiries and requests related to the Business Support team
  • Provide documentation support and develop policies, procedures and reports that meet the needs of a growing business
  • Work with the Business Support Manager on various projects, operational development initiatives and presentations
  • Work in partnership with other management team members to ascertain and carry out the needs of the team and wider organisation
  • Assisting HR with the process of recruitment, assisting and maintaining the HR system
  • Assist with the implementation of new systems and processes
  • Updating spreadsheets using excel to intermediate level
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements, and any other duties assigned to you
  • Supporting business systems including but not limited to;

- Time recording
- Resource analysis
- Contract management
- Invoicing

Experience, Qualifications and Skills

Essential

  • Experience supporting HR and finance functions, working with an extremely busy team with very high standards
  • Excellent Microsoft Office 365 (including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communication, organisation, administration skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and planning skills, able to plan and manage own workload
  • Good research skills, data analysis and the ability to translate complex data into a simple format
