Job Title: Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant will report to the Sales Director.

General Responsibilities

· Shall be able to prioritise and manage time and organizational skills without supervision.

· Shall require a minimum level of supervision.

· Shall be aware of and adhere to all STC Health and Safety requirements.

· Shall be aware of and adhere to your responsibilities as an employee in relation to all work-related legislation.

· Shall attend training courses as required by the Directors from time to time.

· Shall ensure professional standards are applied in all aspects of the Skills Training Centre’s work.

· Shall ensure that a high level of confidentiality is maintained in all aspects of the Centre’s work.

· Shall make yourself aware of, seek clarification of and adhere to all STC policies and procedures.

· Shall engage with and be a positive team member of STC to help in other company areas as and when required. This shall include support other team members as required (e.g., to cover holiday, sickness, periods of high demand etc.)

· Shall communicate effectively with other staff as necessary to ensure your and their duties can be performed to the best of our abilities.

· Shall use e-mail, the internet and all software/information technology in accordance with STC’s IT Policy.

· Shall be sensitive to the special needs of cultural and ethnic groups and those with disabilities when providing advice and support.

Administrative Assistant Skills Required

1. Proven experience in a similar role.

2. Excellent Time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.

3. Attention to detail and problem solving.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook etc) and high level of computer literacy

6. Professionalism both within the company and with external contacts
