R D Johns Ltd are the fastest growing foodservice provider in the South of the UK.
We are looking to recruit a Highly Motivated, Experienced and Enthusiastic Sales Manager for the West Cornwall area to join our successful field based sales team.
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for selling products and meeting customer needs while increasing revenue from existing and potential catering outlets.

Requirements of the role:
- Positive representation of our Company's procedures and services with a comprehensive understanding and following with customer research to identify how our product and service solutions meet customer needs.
- Meet monthly and annual sales targets & margin requirements through the successful implementation of sales and marketing stratergies and tactics
- Generate leads and build relationships planning and organising daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers
- Develop and implement territory action plans through comprehensive market and data analysis and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.
Knowledge of the food industry would be advantageous but not essential.
This is a full time role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
