As a front-line staff member, the sales associates are the first point of contact for our sales department, and are responsible for ensuring every customer receives the unmatched experience that only a dealer can provide. The successful candidate will be able to work full- time, during our regular business hours of Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Responsibilities include:
The main responsibility of this role is to sell units and accessories. This may include chainsaws, hand held landscape equipment, lawn mowers, zero turns and snow blowers.
- Provide accurate, courteous, and professional customer service
- Field inquiries, look up price and availability, and provide quotes to customers
- Process customer deposits to secure sales
- Contact customers when equipment is ready to be picked up
- Process finance applications and notify customer of outcome
- Finalize sales and process payments
- Provide safe operating instructions to customers
- Assist customers with loading equipment as required
- Monitor and maintain inventory and assist with ordering
- Answer telephone and re-direct calls as required
- Accurately collect customer information and update database as required
- Clean and organize to maintain a safe and sanitary work environment
- Additional duties may be required during peak and slow periods
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience working in sales is required
- Knowledge of landscape equipment is an asset
- Organized and detail oriented
- Proficient with the use of a computer
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $24.00-$28.50 per hour
