Job description
We are looking to recruit two enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals interested in developing skills within hospital pharmacy services. You will gain experience in ward based working, the pharmacy dispensary and pharmacy stores whilst working towards a Level 2 QCF in pharmacy services. Upon completion of the qualification your pay band will increase to a Band 3.
Applications are welcome from applicants that already hold the Level 2 QCF qualification. If you already have the required qualifications and skills then you will start the role as a Band 3.
Previous pharmacy experience would be an advantage, however full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be well organised, have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, be able to adapt to changing demands and be committed to providing a high quality patient focused service.
Core service hours are Monday to Friday 08:45 - 17:15. You will contribute to the weekend rota (1 in 8 weekends) and bank holiday rota (1 per year).
Candidates must have GCSEs in Maths & English at grade C or above or an equivalent qualification and meet the essential criteria of the job specification. Proof of qualifications is required.
