Administrative Assistant (Receptionist)
To start 1st September 2023
The Headteacher and Governors are looking for an administrative assistant to join Shawclough Primary on its journey of continuous improvement. Hours of work will be 32 hours per week, term time only, worked in accordance with service requirements.
You must be able to work well using your own initiative and be an efficient member of our school team. It is essential that you are able to build and maintain strong working relationships with all pupils, parents / carers and colleagues. Effective communication skills, a good telephone manner are essential.
Recent experience of general clerical and administrative work and the ability to use Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel, Windows XP and email are essential. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience in using business management systems e.g. ParentPay and of working in a school either on a paid or voluntary basis.
