A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Junior Product Owner to join Boden’s product team. Working with the Head of Product (Creative and Product) and with the Creative Services stakeholders, you will help to shape the limited development and BAU roadmap for this area to achieve key targets based on value and help drive improvements in this sector for both system advancement/changes and process.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to identify technology product requirements, ensuring a thorough understanding of user needs, business goals, and market trends.
  • Product Planning: Assist the Head of Product in creating and maintaining the BAU product roadmap, including defining features, functionalities, and prioritising tasks based on business value, customer impact, and resource availability.
  • Backlog Management: Assist the Head of Product in managing the BAU product backlog, including grooming, prioritising, and maintaining a healthy flow of actionable items.
  • User Stories and Acceptance Criteria: Work Closely with our 3rd parties to create user stories, acceptance criteria and detailed specifications ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals.
  • Business Analysis and Documentation: Undertake any analysis needed to understand requirements and dependencies as well as document as-is and to-be processes. systems, and requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and shared understanding of project goals and deliverables. This will include working with Digital on process and systems enhancements to achieve a full end to end journey.
  • Quality Assurance: Define and validate test scenarios, ensuring that the delivered product meets the defined requirements and quality standards.
  • Product Performance Analysis: Analyse key performance indicators, user feedback, and market research to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Product Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of product documentation, such as user manuals, release notes, and training materials.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management, bringing new ideas and insights to the team.
THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Prior experience in a product management role or relevant internships is a plus.
  • Creative Services experience in a previous role is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, and experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Basic knowledge of product management tools such as Jira, Confluence and Lucidchart.
  • Proficiency in using collaboration and communication tools, such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, or similar.
