Job description
We are seeking to recruit an outstanding Receptionist and Administrator who will be the first point of contact for general enquiries. You will be required to provide a warm, professional and efficient reception service, including greeting visitors to the Academy. You will also provide a strong administrative support to the school, undertaking a range of general clerical and administration duties including typing, word processing and photocopying. Experience in computer packages such as Word and Excel is essential, as is confidence with the use of photocopying equipment.
You must have excellent interpersonal skills in order to allow you to engage with callers and visitors, students and staff in a professional, efficient and sensitive manner. A flexible approach to work is essential in order to assist the administration team at busy times, including occasionally adjusting hours to cover after school events.
Previous experience in an education environment would be an advantage but is not essential.
