TT Electronics’ Bedlington facility north of Newcastle upon Tyne is the home of two TT Electronics divisions; Sensors & Specialist Components and Power Electronics. Sensors & Specialist Components are leaders in high reliability, high performance and engineered electronic components. Power Electronics provide custom power solutions for safety-critical applications in harsh environments. The team in Bedlington specialises in microcircuit production for the aerospace and defence industries.

Introduction
Key Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for IT issues. Take ownership of IT issues and follow them through to ensure they are complete even if passed to another colleague in the IT team.
- Work within a virtual team to provide support to staff around the global with IT issues escalating where necessary to other teams. You are responsible for any escalated calls and will ensure that these are resolved acceptably to both parties.
- Support local systems such as servers, storage telecoms and networking.
- Manage company phone systems and time clock systems.
- Responsible to ensure adequate backups are completed.
- Monitor the availability of global systems through existing portals and log/resolve/escalate issues.
- Providing technical assistance and training to computer users on the application software, hardware and computer services.
- Responsible for IT hardware and software inventory.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers on software, hardware, telecommunication for leased line and telephone system to maintain proper relationship for better maintenance and support for local systems.
- once upto date join or poss lead a Virtual Team.

- Knowledge of HP server and storage technologies.
- Experience of working in a global multinational company
- Knowledge of VOIP systems
- At least 3 years’ experie
Desireable Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Management and process execution is a benefit.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows client and server operating systems to Windows 10 client and Windows Server 2016.
- Knowledge of VMware Vsphere infrastructure.
- Knowledge of HP server and storage technologies.
- Experience of working in a global multinational company
- Knowledge of VOIP and PBX systems
- Knowledge of Office 365 and its applications
- Knowledge of Symantec Backup Exec version 14 to the Latest version.
