We are a growing, family-run small animal practice that has been established for nearly 30 years. We like to pride ourselves on our patient and client care, and continue to strive to improve all the time.
We are looking for a part-time Veterinary Receptionist with excellent communication skills and a passion for the veterinary field. We do not require any experience in the field since we pride ourselves on our own training, working with the individual at their own pace and comfort. Our priority is finding someone enthusiastic, eager to learn, with a good work ethic, but most importantly a pleasant and professional individual who will fit in well with the team.
Responsibilities:
- Answer telephones in a busy veterinary office.
- Answer basic questions regarding pet care to clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, co-workers, and veterinary staff.
- Handle multiple tasks and remain focused; treat all clients and co-workers with professionalism and respect; assist with purchasing merchandise for clients, preparing documentation for services provided, and various other administrative duties
- have the ability to work independently and sometimes alone.
Employees start on minimum wage, which has the ability to increase depending on your development and progression. The role is temporary for 9 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. Start date - as soon as possible

Part-time hours: 16-22 per week
Salary: £5.28-£10.42 per hour
