There is a vacancy for an Administrator/Coordinator at a local licensed asbestos removal company based just outside Ashford, Kent.
Licensed asbestos removal requires extremely high levels of control and monitoring and with this comes extremely high levels of data that needs to be inputted, monitored and kept. The right candidate will be able to input and understand the data coming into the office .Experience working in the construction industry would be an advantage ,however on the job training will be given by our Management Team.
The role also includes the coordinating of multiple licensed teams out on site including arranging equipment to be delivered or liaising with clients to ensure all work is completed. This will require a confident strong personality at times as well as a good level of customer service. Full support is always given from the management team but there may be times you need to take control of the situation and make decisions of your own at a fast pace.
The role will be challenging but enjoyable where you can really grow into the role and make it your own with the full support of the team around you. There will be opportunities to get promoted as new roles open up. This role however will give you a great foundation understanding of licensed asbestos removal and all that goes with it.
Due to our offices being out in the countryside where there is no public transport routes it is essential you are able to get to our yard in Bethersden utilising your own transport.
The role is full time Mon -Fri (40hours per week) timings can be adjusted slightly either starting at 7:30am or up until 9:30am however there is not an option to work from home.
Pay for this role is from £13 per hour
Responsibilities will be:
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Organize the company diary, schedule appointments and meetings
- Provide job invoices and completion paperwork to clients, bookkeeping skills would be an advantage.
- Conduct data entry
- Prepare site documentation including ,Photocopy and print documents
- Maintain holiday records
- Develop administration systems to be make them more efficient
- Manage equipment allocation and servicing register
- Take meeting minutes (no short hand required)
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Maintain computer and manual filling systems
- Willing to be trained in the writing of detailed work plans
- Booking analysts
- Create good relationships with customers
- Book job contracts and manage team diaries
- coordinate and assist multiple teams on various sites
