Accommodation Assistant

Location: Clumber Park Lodges, Worksop, S80 3BQ

Clumber Park Lodges provides short stay holidays in high standard self-catering accommodation within beautiful surroundings. Our accommodation has been designed and built to the highest standards and we need a team who will work to maintain these standards and deliver excellence for our guests. Our accommodation team are responsible for 76 units of accommodation.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Accommodation Team Leader, you are required to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is achieved and maintained in our guest accommodation.

About The Candidate

Potential applicants should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have high standards and be able to carry out a physically demanding role.

Full training will be provided for this role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Dusting furniture, radiators and walls

· Vacuuming carpets and damp cleaning hard floor areas

· Cleaning kitchens including work surfaces, ovens, hobs and fridges

· Cleaning bathrooms including baths, wash basins, tiles and toilets

· Cleaning outside areas including patios, sweeping paths and removing cobwebs from external fascia's

· Making beds

· The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and good communication skills as you will interact with both colleagues and guests.

Key Skills and Experience

· A motivated approach to colleagues.

· Flexible and adaptable approach.

· Previous experience in a cleaning / housekeeping industry (desirable).

Reports To

Accommodation Team Leader

Benefits, Salary and Hours of Work

· You will be contracted to work 0 hours per week at £10.00 per hour. Your working hours are predominantly Monday and Friday, although a good level of flexibility is required. As our Park is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year in line with business needs.
