Job Summary and Qualifications

The Medical Office Coordinator assures customer satisfaction (patients, visitors, physicians and staff), providing support to the department staff and Director demonstrating effective communication.

• You will maintain patient’s schedule and medical records based on facility standards
• You demonstrate an understanding of hospital and department policies and procedures.
• Participate in department Performance Improvement projects
• You will promote cost effective unit operations.

• Comply with professional, regulatory, governmental and department standards

What qualifications you will need:

• Three years of clerical / receptionist office or equivalent experience is required, preferably in a medical office environment;
• Experience with insurance authorizations and medical office scheduling
• Proficient in the use of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Exposure to medical terminology

• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required
• Possess the ability to work Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 3:30pm
