An exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant has risen to join our team based at Musgrove Park Hospital.
You will be responsible to provide secretarial and clerical support to the speciality team.
You will work within the Trust values and core standards to maintain an excellent patient experience at all times.
Your role will include booking 2 week wait appointments, monitoring the generic email inbox, scanning and verifying documents, shredding, opening and sorting daily post, checking the investigation and discharge summary databases and medical audio typing. We use Excel to monitor our patient pathways, therefore a basic knowledge of Excel is required .
The team strive to offer the best experience for our patients as well as supporting our clinical/nursing staff on a daily basis.

To provide admin support to the secretarial and clinical team within the Urology Department, answering the telephone at times of leave, booking 2 week wait appointments, scanning/photocopying and assisting with medical audio typing.
