The AMICULUM Finance team is looking for a highly motivated accounts payable assistant with a proactive approach to help support the financial management of our growing global healthcare communications company. The role
As an accounts payable assistant, you’ll join a collaborative team of over 350 talented professionals based in New Zealand, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, the UK, Switzerland, the UAE and the USA. You’ll liaise with the finance team and individuals across the business on a regular basis, providing excellent client service to our internal teams at all times.
Key responsibilities
- Processing high-volume purchase invoices and credit notes including the general ledger coding
- Reconciling credit card and corporate travel accounts
- Managing vendor payments to ensure we honour payment terms
- Ensuring that all queries are resolved
- Analysing and validating routine expenditures, including expenses
- Working with the finance team to streamline processes and procedures, and supporting ad hoc tasks when required
What you’ll need
- Prior experience in a similar role within a group finance function
- Strong numeracy skills and a logical approach to financial tasks, as well as high-quality written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate work in line with agreed deadlines
- Experience working with multiple currencies and companies within a network structure
- A good understanding of general ledger, including coding AP invoices, fixed assets and intercompany recharges
- A flexible approach when prioritizing work and multitasking
