Job description

Your mission:

As accountant in our office in London, you will play a key role in helping us stay on top of our bookkeeping. The successful candidate will be responsible for our accounting and working closely with our accounting software Xero. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK accounting laws, labor laws and regulations.

Key responsabilities:

Oversee the accounting for Aeguana, including:

Creditor bookkeeping, including expense management
Accounts receivable management including dunning process
Payroll management
VAT declaration
Controlling & management accounts
Drafting of monthly and annual management reports
Managing payments

Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
This role is part-time at around 80%-100%

Your profile:

Completed commercial training
3-5 years of experience as accountant
Experience with accounting systems e.g. Xero
Great people & communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
You're able to create structure & order in fast-paced environments
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
