We are currently seeking a dedicated Route Accounting Clerk 1 to join our winning team at our Fresno, CA location. The Route Accounting Clerk 1 will be responsible for all facets of route accounting analysis as it relates to end of day route settlements and accuracy. The Route Accounting Clerk 1 will also assist with customer invoicing, account receivable, and settlement. The Route Accounting Clerk 1 will be responsible for demonstrating our Producers Dairy Core Values and carrying out our purpose of Nourishing Lives.
Responsibilities:
Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement mindset, and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify value, prioritize resources and maximize improvement opportunities.
Complete all assigned route settlements accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with proper procedures.
Email distributor ticket listings.
Research paperwork, order and billing errors. Complete the forensic analysis, communicating findings toward the result of reducing and eradicating errors.
Reporting of route product and cash variance.
Route credit reconciliation.
Asset tracking reporting.
Completion of day-end, week-end and month-end for the accounting system.
Branch recap reporting.
Accounts Receivable chain account research.
Establishing and maintaining use of vendor portals for billing and invoice processing.
Analysis of past due accounts receivable aging.
Strong attention to detail and follow through.
Completing special projects, duties and assignments, as appropriate.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Strong computer skills, including knowledge of spreadsheets and email.
Strong math and communication skills, excellent work ethic.
Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.
Comfortable interacting with all levels of management, including executive leadership.
Forensic approach to identifying, communicating and helping to minimize errors and discrepancies.
Collaborative team focused approach toward work.
Preferred:
Dairy processing/manufacturing experience a plus.
Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
Working with route accounting software a significant benefit.
