At South coast karting we require track team marshals to assist customers at our kart racing circuit. A busy outdoor rental Kart venue that caters for wide range of customers. Our customers include Stag & Hen events, corporate Company Karting races, Championship experiences and timed sessions.
Our track team is the professional face of the business, you will be required to assist to run events at our busy kart track in Bournemouth whilst also being ambassadors for our company.
Duties include:-
Preparing the track and karts ready for each event (mechanical skills not required)
Supervising the circuit during racing
Assisting drivers during their racing session
Supervising the pit lane, controlling customer traffic
Monitoring the track and hospitality areas
Kitting up drivers with helmets and race suits
Briefing groups of track rules and regulations
Current staff have progressed to a race director & assistant track team manager positions and be trained in the running of the race timing system. No limit of progress for the suitable candidate.
A quality track team is required for all race events at South Coast Karting, to provide cover for events from 8am-10.00pm 6 days a week from Tuesday to Sunday. This will be on a shift system depending on level of business.
No previous karting experience is necessary: however, knowledge of karting race events and race formats is desirable. All applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be able to work in the UK. All applicants must be available the majority of weekends and school holidays, this is not just a term time only position.
Hours: include weekends, evenings & school holidays.
Successful candidates will be continually appraised to their skill set and their hourly rate adjusted accordingly.
