The impact you will make
The Senior Accountant will provide accounting support to our businesses and corporate market
support department. The successful candidate will work closely with a variety of stakeholders
across several areas of the organization, including Operations, M&A, Finance and Accounting
for multiple locations. Success will require hands-on and demonstrated experience, ability to
work with and influence others, and be comfortable meeting financial deliverables with a high
level of quality, accuracy, and effectiveness. This role requires a self-starter with a strong rigor
for accounting, keen attention to detail, ability to align critical decisions. As an integral part of
the month end close process, the Senior Accountant reconciles assigned general ledger accounts
to ensure that the Company’s account balances are properly stated in accordance with generally
accepted accounting principles. The Sr. Accountant completes assigned areas of responsibility
which may include financial review, variance analysis, and financial reporting, process

Key Responsibilities
- This role will oversee the execution month-end close deliverables. You will be responsible for driving the necessary financial rigor in process, templates, and inputs that allow for a successful, accurate, and efficient process.
- Gain and maintain a working knowledge of the systems that support accounting for our businesses
- Prepare and maintain fixed asset schedule and depreciation
- Prepare and record monthly accruals
- Perform month-end closing activities including preparation of journal entries and analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices
- Develop and communicate innovative approaches for continued improvement in efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist with maintenance of the general ledger
- Assist with year-end audit, prepare supporting documentation, and address auditors'questions
- Identifying weaknesses in existing internal controls that have a direct or indirect effect onthe Company’s financial statements and propose new internal controls to improve accuracy and transactional integrity
- Completion of special projects and Adhoc reporting as assigned
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Must have BA/BS in accounting with strong working knowledge of GAAP
- 5+ years prior accounting experience in a corporate environment (CPA or public experience is a plus)
- Experience in services, retail, consumer-oriented or multi-site industry
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Service Titan, Sage Intacct, Adaptive Budgeting & Forecasting, Bill.com is preferred
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously with a keen attention todetail.
